Citizenship: Applicants interested in job openings must possess a valid Government-Issued National Identity card. This is applicable to Kenyans and other nationals.

Qualifications for WTS Energy Jobs 2025/2026

1. Maintenance Engineer (Vegetable Oil Extraction Plant)

As the name insinuates applicant of this position must have the technical prowess to handle necessary equipment, utilities and facilities. To qualify:

Interested person must be a graduate of Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
Either Degree or equivalent from an accredited and recognized institution is accepted.
It is compulsory that applicant has an accumulate five (5) years’ experience in maintenance at a production/manufacturing company.
Been knowledgeable in installation, repair and general operation of the oil extraction machine is key.
Applicant must be a computer literate and had gained practical knowledge of using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

2. External Relations Officer

This role is open to persons with a Degree or equivalent in either Communications, International Relations, Social etc.
Institution that offered you certification must be accredited and recognized by relevant authorities.
Applicant must have two (2) to four (4) years’ experience in communications, external relations, community development etc.
Proficiency in relevant computer applications like MS Office 365 is mandatory.
Possess strong, strategic communication and problem-solving skills.

3. Machine Learning Engineer

Candidates interested in this position must have completed a Degree programme in either Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics or any other relevant discipline.
Applicant must have good experience in the use of Python with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch etc.
Those conversant with Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) have an added advantage.

4. Construction Supervisor

Eligible applicant is one with Certifications such as NEBOST, OSHA or any other health and safety course.
Candidate should be in possession of either a Degree or Diploma in construction management, civil engineering or related course.
Experience in construction or site management for certain years would go a long way.
Applicants who have undergone leadership or management training course that lasted at least six (6) weeks have an added advantage.
