General Requirements for Wajir County Jobs 2025

Qualifications for Wajir County Government Recruitment 2025
To qualify for appointment, idea candidate must meet the qualifications, experience and skills specified below.
1. Registered Nurse III
- Persons indicating interest for this role must hold at least a Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse from any recognized medical institution.
- He or she must be registered and license with the Nursing Council of Kenya.
- Candidate should have a minimum of one (1) year experience in a busy hospital.
2. Internal Auditor II
- Ideal candidate for this role is one with a Diploma or equivalent qualification in Accounting or a comparable discipline.
- Candidate must have passed the CPA part II exam.
- Should have gained one (1) or more years of relevant work experience.
3. Supply Chain Management Officer III
- Interested candidate must have a Diploma in Supplies Management or equivalent qualification.
4. Senior Budget Officer
- Individuals going for this position must possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited tertiary institution in academic discipline such as Economics, Business Administration etc.
- Applicant must have a related work experience especially as a Finance Officer for at least 3 years.
- Should understand how to use computer applications relevant to this role e.g. MS Excel, Word and Access etc.
- Candidate must have an antecedent of good work performance.
5. Principal Statistician
- Most suitable candidate for this position is one with a degree in Statistics, Economic or Mathematics.
- An accumulate work experience for at least 4 years is required.
- Candidate must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as proficiency in relevant computer applications.
- Being conversant with Statistical packages such as SPSS is an added advantage.
6. Deputy Director Revenue
- Candidates going for this role should hold first degree in Finance, Economics or a comparable course of study.
- He or she must be a registered an active member of any relevant professional body.
- Applicant must have completed the part III CPA examination at any accredited institution.
- Applicant must have a total of six (6) or more years relevant work experience.
- Must be a person of high integrity and as well hold a certificate in relevant computer applications.
7. County Chief Officer
- Candidates applying for this role must have complete a first degree program at any recognized institution in Kenya.
- Those who possess a Master’s degree as well shall be preferred.
- Whether in the private or public sector, applicant is expected to have gained a minimum of 5 years work experience.
- Candidate must be familiar with the Constitution of Kenya and other devolution laws.
- Should possess qualitative communication, leadership, organizational, reporting and interpersonal skills.
