About Uasin Gishu County Public Service Board
Uasin Gishu County is one of the fourty seven (47) counties in Kenya who is highly poised at the betterment of both residence and indigenes. The county was flagged-off sequel to the Constitution of Kenya (2010).

Eligibility Criteria for Uasin Gishu County Jobs 2025
- Nationality: Prospective applicant must an indigene of Kenya, who holds a valid National ID card or passport and also resides in the country (Uasin Gishu County especially).
- KCSE Result: Generally, candidates are expected to hold Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) result with at least D+ mean grade including Kiswahili and English languages. Interested persons with equivalent qualification can as well apply.
- Clearance Certificates: In compliance to chapter six (6) of Kenya constitution, each applicant must possess current and valid copies of Clearance certificates from KRA, HELB, DCI, EACC and CRB.
- Integrity: Persons who are ex-convicts or currently undergoing criminal trial cannot apply.
- Personal Attributes: Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, good communication, interpersonal, analytical, and reporting and ICT skills are required.

1. Economist II
- Interested candidate must hold an undergraduate in either Economics, Statistics or a closely related discipline.
- Candidate must be a member of a professional body relevant to their field of discipline.
- He or she must have proper knowledge on the usage of Monitoring and Evaluation tools.
2. Chief Risk Management & Compliance Officer
- Persons interested in this position must have complete a bachelor’s degree program at any accredited institution in discipline such as Finance, Business Administration or an equivalent course.
- Candidate must be a member of professional bodies such as ICPAK, IIA or ISACA etc.
- Professional certifications such as CPAK, ACCA, CIA or CISA is required.
- A professional work experience for a minimum period of four (4) years is required.
3. Chief Office Administrator
- Interested applicant should hold first degree in either Secretarial Studies, Office Management or a comparable qualification.
- Candidate must have attended a Supervisory or management training course that lasted a minimum of two (2) weeks at an accredited institution.
- Proficient in relevant computer applications is mandatory.
4. Prosecution Counsel II
- Candidates going for this role must hold an LLB and Post graduate Diploma in law.
- He or she must be an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and possess a valid practicing license.
- Professional registration and active membership with the Law Society of Kenya is mandatory.
5. Assistant Quantity Surveyor II
- Prospective applicants of this role must have a Bachelor’s degree in Building Economics, Quantity Surveying or any other relevant course.
- He or she must be a registered and active member of the Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK) or Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya (IQSK).
6. Accountant II
- Candidates interested in this role must have passed the part II of Certified Public Accounts (CPA) examination.
- Must have gained relatively a minimum of 3-years work experience.
