Qualifications for Trans Nzoia County Government Jobs 2025

1. Member of the County Audit Committee

• Candidates interested in this role must have first degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management or a relevant academic discipline.
• Applicant must be a registered, active and recognized member of IIA, ICPAK or IAK etc.
• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in top management position is required.
• Interested candidates who already holds an office in Trans Nzoia County Government or served before now should not apply.
• Those holding political offices are not permitted to apply as well.

2. Chairperson of the County Audit Committee

• Prospective applicant of this position must hold a degree in relevant academic discipline.
• Certification must be from a recognized tertiary institution.
• A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in a Senior Management position is required.
• Candidate must be a member of professional body such as ICPAK, ICPSK, IAK etc,
• Candidate must not be holding any political office at the moment.
• Should be conversant with relevant laws and function of Trans Nzoia County Government.

3. CEO/Secretary

• Interested candidate must have an undergraduate in relevant academic discipline such as Human Resource Management etc.
• Those who possess a Master’s degree have an added advantage.

4. Medical Officers

• Interested candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB).
• Candidate must have attended a minimum of one (1) year internship at an accredited institution.
• Candidate must possess a valid registration license from the Medical Practioners and Dentists Board.

5. ICT Officer III

• Interested candidate must possess a degree or Diploma in either Computer Science, Information or Communication Technology (ICT) etc.
