Who is Eligible to Apply?

Requirements for Taita Mak Taveta County Recruitment 2025
The main academic and professional qualification, work experience and other necessary expectations for each vacancy are stated below.
1. Agricultural Assistant
- Persons who have interested for this position must have completed a 2-year certificate course in either Agriculture, Food Technology, Agricultural Education etc.
- Applicant must be skilful in computer applications such as Microsoft office and other relevant packages
2. Architectural Assistant Officer II
- Ideal candidate for this role is expected to hold a minimum qualification of Diploma or equivalent in Architecture.
- Academic certificate must be issued by an accredited tertiary institution.
- Candidate must have a comparable worker experience totaling seven (7) years. Three (3) years as Architectural Assistant II and Four (4) years as Architecture Assistant.
- General experience as an Architecture.
- Applicant must be very conversant with the usage of Microsoft Office packages and CAD design software.
3. Senior Superintendent Architect
- Prospective applicant of this position must hold first degree in Architecture of a closely related discipline from any recognized institution.
- Candidate must be a registered member of Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors of Kenya and Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK).
- Candidate must have completed a management training course of at least one (1) month.
- He or she must have worked as a Superintending Architect for a minimum of three (3) years.
4. Human Resource Assistant II
- Applicant interested in this role must hold a Diploma or equivalent qualification in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations etc.
- Candidate should be a registered member of relevant professional body.
- Alternatively, he or she must have passed part I of the Certified Public Secretaries Examination from KASNEB.
5. Director of Internal Audit
- Ideal candidate for this role is one with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (finance or Accounting) or a comparable course.
- Candidate must be a recognized member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) or Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
- Gaining over five (5) years of relevant work experience is mandatory.
- Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and IFMIS management etc.
- Completing a Strategic Development Program (SLDP) of not less than six (6) weeks is mandatory.
- Applicants with Master’s degree to their portfolio is a plus.
