Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP) was officially established in 2010 to oversee the registration and regulation of political parties in Kenya and as well manage the dispensation of Political Parties Fund (PPF).

Eligibility Criteria for ORPP Recruitment2025
The key criteria that are mandatory for all applicants are as follows:
Citizenship: It is mandatory that only citizens of Kenya submit application for these jobs. A valid National Identity Card or Passport shall be presented as proof.
Age: This recruitment target individuals between 18 – 35 years. Exceptions are only applicable to top management position.
Adherence to Constitution: All applicants must fulfil the requirements of chapter six (6) of the Kenyan constitution which entails possess clearance certificate from HELB, KRA, certificate of good conduct from DCI etc. Preferably applicant must be residing in the country.
Personal Competencies: Applicants are expected to possess strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, analytical and reporting skills, must be proficient in relevant computer applications and as well as being a good team player.

Job Responsibilities and Qualifications
For each vacant position, there is an expectation. So, here are the responsibilities and direct qualifications for ORPP recruitment vacancies 2025.
1. Manager, Supply Chain Management
The key duty of the Manager for Supply Chain Management includes orchestration and implementation of relevant policies to ensure appropriate and efficient supply chain. Foster research and oversee inventory management and assets disposal processes.
- Education: Applicant must have completed a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree program from a recognized institution in either Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Commerce etc.
- Work Experience: Applicants of this role must have a total of nine (9) years of relevant work experience, 3 of which must be in managerial position.
- Professional Qualification: Applicant must be a registered member of relevant professional body, must have attended a Senior Management training for at least 4 months from a recognized institution.
2. Management Officer
This officer shall be responsible for birthing policies, procedures and necessary for records management and documentation e.g. timely filing and dispatching of mails and retrieval of mails/records etc.
- Persons interested in this position must have a degree in either Library and Information Science, or Information Management Science etc. from a recognized institution.
- Professional affiliation with relevant bodies and training courses etc. is a plus.
3. Compliance Officer
As the compliance officer, your responsibility shall simply be to ensure that political parties adhere to relevant policies and regulations. You shall also formulate measure that will track this compliance by political parties.
- Those interested in this role must be graduates of either Law, Political Science, Social Science or Public Administration from an approved university.
- Applicant must be an advocate of the High Court i.e. for those who studied law.
- Membership with relevant professional bodies is mandatory.
4. Driver
As the driver, you shall be driving authorized motor vehicles, ensure that vehicles are in good condition e.g. cooling oil, brake system, tyre pressure etc. Also, see to the cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Applicant must have mean grade D in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Applicant must have attended an approved driving school.
- Must have a current driving license that allows the officer to drive any type of vehicle.
- Must have aced the Occupational Trade Test III for drivers.
- Must have completed a suitability test for Drivers Grade III usually conducted by the Ministry of Transport and Public Works.
- Must have attended a First-Aid training for at least one (1) week at Kenya Institute of Highway and Building Technology (KIHBT) or any other recognized institution.
