Eligibility Requirements for NCPB Recruitment 2025/2026

Only interested candidates who meets the eligibility criteria below shall be considered:

  • Applications shall only be received from Kenyan citizens who possess valid National Identity Card or Passport.
  • Have KCSE result certificate with D+ mean grade including English and Kiswahili languages.
  • Applicant must have zero criminal background but rather be a patriotic citizen.
  • Candidate must currently be residing in Kenya and willing to relocate to any part of the country.
  • Applicant must be able to express self appropriately in both verbal and non-verbal form.

In line with chapter six (6) of Kenyan constitution, below are the clearance documents each applicant must possess.

  • Police Clearance Certificate (Certificate of Good Conduct)
  • Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) Clearance Certificate or Statement
  • A Tax Compliance Certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
  • A clearance certificate from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).

Qualifications for NCPB Recruitment 2025/2026

Apart from KCSE, here are the main qualifications that checks suitability for each role.

1. Officer II, Warehousing (Silos)

This officer shall be the one in charge of Silos activity coordination to ensure appropriate procurement, storage of products and their issuance as well as upholding a good record on these.   

  • To be eligible after meeting the general qualifications, the applicant must own a Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Science & Technology or Agricultural Engineering, Technical/Maintenance service or related fields.

2. Officer II, Warehousing (Depot)

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Job holder shall coordinate activities at the Depot to facilitate proper procurement, storage (management) of products and their issuance; maintaining updated records on products and directing other activities performed by staff in the Depot.

  • Candidate applying must at least be in possession of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Science & Technology or Agricultural Engineering,
  • Technical/Maintenance service or related fields.

3. Officer II, Marketing

Reporting to the Senior Officer, Marketing, you will be tasked with the responsibilities of contributing to the overall achievement of corporate sales targets through sales expansion via new customer acquisitions, retention and enhanced customer activities.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or other business-related fields is the lone qualification needed for appointment of this position.
