Eligibility for National Treasury and Economic Planning Recruitment 2025

The fundamental criteria that even makes you eligible to submit application for these job vacancies are:

Qualifications for Ministry of National Treasury Jobs 2025

In addition to the above eligibility requirements, below are the qualifications each applicant must possess depending on the role he or she is applying for:

1. Director, Financial Sector Management Programme

• Persons interested in this position must hold a Master’s degree in either Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a closely related discipline.
• Applicant must have an accumulative ten (10) years of relevant experience.
• Candidate must have a specialized training in Financial Technology (FinTech) or Digital Finance etc.
• Must be experienced in designing and delivering capacity building programmes.
• Must have worked in any outstanding financial institution.

2. Director, Macroeconomic Management Programme

• Ideal candidate for this position is one with a Master’s in either Economics, Development Studies or Public Policy etc.
• Candidate must have gained over ten (10) years of relevant work experience.
• Must be a strategic thinker, and have proper understanding of the macroeconomic management systems.

3. Value Chain Finance Officer

• Persons interested in this position must possess an undergraduate degree in either Economic, Finance, or Agribusiness etc.
• Candidate must have a better understanding in rural finance and agriculture finance operations.
• Must be fluent in English and also possess strong communication skills.

4. Monitoring and Evaluation and Knowledge Management Officer

• To qualify for this position, interested persons must hold a Master’s and undergraduate degree in either Statistics, or Economics.
• Must have a minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience.
• Obtain monitoring and evaluation certificate.
• Work antecedent in donor-funded projects prioritizing rural finance is a key advantage.

5. Procurement Specialist/PPP Directorate

• Applicant interested in this position must have a Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing and Supplies Management or equivalent qualification.
• Must have gained over six (6) years of relevant work experience in Public Procurement or a relevant position.
• Candidate must have professional certification such as CIPS, CSCP and CPSP-K etc.
• Must maintain professional membership with the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management.
• Must have received specialized training in procurement in according with World Bank rules.
