About Narok Public Service Board
The Narok County was form in response to the County Government Act of 2012 as outline in Kenya constitution. The County is in the south region of the Rift Valley sharing border with Tanzania and other counties of Kenya.
The County current have six (6) sub-counties which are; Narok North, Narok West, Narok East, Narok South, Transmara East and Transmara West etc.
In quest to ensure that government processes and necessary sectors work properly, the Government enacted the Public Service Board (CPSB) to oversee the affairs of the Public Service.
Some of the board’s core functions include;
- Establishing or dismantling irrelevant offices.
- Appoint most qualified and experience persons for vacant positions in the Service.
- Carry out disciplinary actions on offenders.
- Recommendations to the county government etc.

Eligibility Criteria for Kiambu County Recruitment 2025
- Nationality: Prospective applicant of Kiambu County Public Service Board recruitment exercise must be Kenyan citizen or permanent dweller of the County who possess current National Identity Card or Passport.
- Constitutional Clearance: Individuals applying must adhere to the requirements of chapter 6 of Kenya constitution by possessing valid clearance certificates from authorities such as; HELB, KRA, DCI, EACC, and CRB etc.
- KCSE: Prospective applicant are expected to possess the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education with at least D+ or D (plain) mean grade or holds an equivalent qualification.
- Skills: Applicants must be conversant with a multi-cultural environment, be proficient in relevant computer applications, and possess good communication and analytical skills.
Qualifications for Narok County Government Recruitment 2025
Here are the qualifications, work experience and other key requirements for the vacancies announced.
1. Game Warden III (Cadet)
- Candidates interested in this role are expected to hold at least first degree in either Wildlife Management, Environmental Management, Forestry, Tourism Management, Environmental Science or a related discipline from any accredited tertiary institution.
- Applicant must be within 22 to 30 years of age.
- Does currently serving in the capacity of Ranger or Corporal can apply.
- Male applicant must be at least 5.4ft tall while female should be 5.2.
- Interested applicants must be medically, physically and mentally sound.
- Female applicants must not be pregnant at the time of application.
2. Game Ranger
- Prospective applicants of this position must be between 18 and 28 years of age.
- Must hold at least KCSE with mean grade D- (minus).
- Candidate must be proficient in relevant computer applications.
- Should be mentally, physically and mentally fit.
- Female applicants of this role must not be pregnant throughout the recruitment process.
3. Clinical Psychologist
- Prospective applicants of this position must hold First Degree or equivalent qualification in Clinical Psychology or any other relevant discipline from an accredited tertiary institution.
- Candidate must hold professional membership with the Counsellors and Psychologists Board.
- Must have valid practicing license from the Counsellors and Psychologists Board.
4. Assistant Occupational Therapist III
- Ideal candidate must have a Diploma in Occupational Therapy or a comparable discipline.
- Must be a registered member of Occupational Therapy Council of Kenya and as well hold current practicing license.
5. Nutrition and Dietetics Technologist III
- Persons applying must possess a Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics or a related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Applicant must hold a valid registration certificate from the Kenya Nutritionists and Dieticians Institute and as well possess a valid practicing license.
6. Community Oral Health Officers
- Interested applicants of this position must hold a Diploma in Community Oral Health, be registered with Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council, also hold practicing license issued by the council.
- Applicant must have mean grade C (plain) in KCSE.
