Eligibility Criteria for Migori County Recruitment 2025

Generally, these are the criteria that showcases your eligibility to apply for vacancies announced by Migori County Public Service Board.

Below are the role-specific requirements for open job vacancies.

1. Deputy Directory of Monitoring and Evaluation

• Candidates who wish to hold this position must possess an undergraduate degree in either Economics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Project Planning and Management etc. from a recognized institution.
• Candidates who possess a Master’s degree in any of the aforementioned discipline have an advantage.
• Candidate must be skillful in relevant computer applications and possess relevant certifications.
• An accumulative seven (7) years of professional work experience is required.
• Candidates with professional training and certification in Monitoring and Evaluation have an added advantage.

2. Assistant Public Health Officers

• Interested person must possess a recognized Diploma in either Environmental Health Science, Public Health Technology or any other relevant discipline.
• Certification in relevant computer application packages is a plus.

3. Health Administrative Officer III

• Holder of this position must have a Diploma in Hospital, Health Institution, Business Administration of Health Administration.
• Certification from be from an accredited and recognized tertiary institution.
• Applicant must be a computer literate.
• He or she must hold KCSE certificate with a minimum of C- or equivalent qualification.

4. Mechanical Engineering Technologist III

• Applicant must possess either a Higher National Diploma or Diploma in Electrical Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• Should possess at least one (1) year post graduation experience.
• Must have a current practicing license from the Medical Engineering County of Kenya.
• Applicant must be ICT oriented.

5. Nutrition & Dietetics Technologist III

• Candidate applying must have completed a Degree or Diploma program in Nutrition or equivalent discipline from an accredited tertiary institution.
• Candidate must possess at least C- in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
• Should possess a valid practicing license from KNDI and as well certificate in relevant computer applications.

6. Director of Agriculture

• Applicants interested in this role must possess a minimum of Master’s degree in Agriculture, Food Science, Home Economics, or any other relevant academic discipline.
• Candidate should possess at least three (3) years’ experience as an Assistant Director of Agriculture.
• Attending a management of leadership training course that lasted for at least six (6) weeks is an added advantage.

7. Director of Livestock

• Candidates going for this role must possess a Bachelor’s degree in either Animal Health or Production, Livestock Economics or equivalent position.
• A minimum of fifteen (15) years relevant experience is required for this position.
• Applicants with a Master’s degree have an added advantage.
• Possess a professional management or leadership certificate.
• Candidate should be conversant with livestock subject matters and be vested with current trends and scientific discovery.
