Requirements for Marsabit County Recruitment 2025
Generally, prospective applicant must hail from Kenya and possess a valid National Identity card or Passport. He or she must have a D+ mean grade in KCSE, have a criminal free record and possess clearance certificates from KRA, DCI, HELB, CRB, and EACC etc.
1. Director of Agriculture
- Interested candidates of this position must have complete a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree program in either Home Economics, Agriculture, Horticulture of a relevant academic discipline.
- Applicant must have an accumulative 10 or more years of relevant work experience including top management roles.
- Candidate must hold a professional leadership training certificate from a recognized institution.
- Applicant must be proficient in relevant computer software applications.
2. Principal Accountant
- Ideal candidate for this position must have a Bachelor’s degree in either Commerce of a relevant discipline.
- Those with Master’s degree in Management Business Administration (MBA), Statistics or equivalent course have an added advantage.
- Prospective applicant should be a registered and recognized member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) etc.
- A minimal of five (5) years of professional work experience is required.
3. Assistant Director, Economic Planning
- Candidates interested in this role must have a Bachelor degree in Accounting, Economics, or Statistics.
- Certification must be from an accredited tertiary institution in Kenya.
- Applicant should possess strong interpersonal, communication and report writing skills.
- Candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years professional work experience.
4. Deputy Director, Supply Management Services
- To get selected for this role, you must have both Masters and Bachelor’s degree in either Procurement and Supply Management, Economics, Business Administration or a related course.
- Candidate applying should be a registered member of Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) and also have 5 years of practical work experience.
5. Office Administers II
- Applicants of this position are expected to have a Bachelor’s degree in Secretarial studies or a comparable course.
- Candidate should hold professional qualification that validates Personal Assistant or Secretary role.
- A minimum of three (3) active years of work experience is required.
- Candidate must also be conversant with computer applications such as Microsoft Packages.
6. Human Resource Management Assistant II
- Interested persons should hold a Diploma or equivalent qualification in Human Resource Management or related discipline.
- Applicant must be proficient with relevant computer applications as well.
