Kwale County is located in the South Eastern part of Kenya. It directly shares border with the Indian Ocean and Tanzania. Amongst the fourty seven (47) counties of Kenya, Kwale County is one of the most outstanding in Tourism.

- Establishment of Public offices.

Eligibility Criteria for Kwale County Recruitment 2025
The mandatory requirements every candidate must meet irrespective of the position they wish to apply are as follows:
- Clearance Certificates: The County requires that interested applicants should comply with chapter six (6) of Kenya constitution by possessing clearance certificate from Higher Education Loan Board (HELB), Tax Compliance certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Certificate of good conduct from DCI, EACC self-declaration form and CRB clearance certificate etc.
- Nationality: Interested candidate should be a citizen of Kenya and possibly an indigene of Kwale. He or she must hold current National Identity Card or Passport.
- Law Abiding: Candidates who have been convicted by a court of law or currently undergoing criminal trial are not permitted to apply.
- Age: Interested candidates must be above 18 years of age.
- KCSE Result: Candidates applying must have a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E) with at least D+ mean grade including English and Kiswahili languages or equivalent qualification.
- Skills: Proficiency in relevant computer applications, good interpersonal, analytical, reporting and communication skills are pivotal.
Qualifications for Kwale County Government Recruitment 2025
To get appointed for the follow grade, below are the criteria you must meet:
1. Senior Human Resource Management Officer
- Interested candidate should hold an undergraduate degree in Human Resource Management or a comparable academic discipline.
- Candidates interested in this role must have a minimum of three (3) or more year professional work experience.
- Candidates should have a Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Relations, Human Resource Management or a related course.
- Those with Master’s degree have an added advantage.
- Candidate should be a Certified Human Resource Professional with pass mark in Part I or II of CHRP-K examination.
- Professional affiliation or membership with the Institute of Human Resource Management is a plus.
2. Records Management Officer III
- Prospective job holder must have graduated from an accredited tertiary institution with a Diploma or equivalent qualification in Information Management etc.
- Candidate that have relevant years of work experience have an advantage.
- Applicant must have a mean grade C in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).

3. Senior Assistant Administration Officer
- Interested candidate must hold a Diploma in either Public Administration, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- He or she must have at least three (3) years of relevant work experience.
- Must have complete a six (6) weeks supervisory management or leadership course at any recognized institution.
4. Administration Assistant II
- Eligible candidate should possess a Certificate in either Business Management, Public Administration or a related discipline.
- Candidate should be conversant with the role’s responsibilities.
- Having previous experience in the same role is a plus.
5. Pharmacist
- Interested applicant must have a Bachelor’s of Pharmacy from any tertiary institution approved by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
- He or she must have finished a full 1-year internship program.
- Should possess registration certificate issued by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
- Apart from the internship, any other work experience relevant to this role is an added advantage.
6. Assistant Engineer II (Water and Sewerage)
- Ideal candidate for this role must hold first degree in Civil Engineering, be a recognized member of the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya and as well possess relevant work experience.
7. Inspectors (Water and Sewerage)
- Interested applicant should either hold a three (3) years technical training certificate from an accredited institution or a Diploma in Water Supply Technology, Water Engineering or a comparable course.
