Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

1. Retail Manager

Holder of this position shall oversee the entire daily operations of the supermarket, ensuring that standards are upheld, products are in stock and workers deliver on designated duties.

Applicants of this role:

  • Must possess a Diploma or Degree from an accredited and recognized institution.
  • Must have a certificate in relevant computer applications.
  • Possess strategies for day-to-day run of the supermarket.
  • Attending a management or leadership training that lasted for at least four (4) weeks.

2. Cashiers

As the cashier, your primary responsibility shall be to ensure that transactions sail through seamlessly while keep a clear record. You shall put cash register and relevant payment mediums that reduces hassles for customer to process payment to ensure transparency.

  • Candidates interested in this role must possess either a Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting or Commerce from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Applicant should have at least two (2) years of relevant work experience.
  • Must be a computer literate and proficient in relevant packages relating to this role like MS Excel, MS Access, and MS Word etc.

3. Shelf Attendants

As shelf attendant, you’re to ensure that products are properly and strategically positioned, confirm availability, ensure neatness of the shelf and report any inconsistency or faults to the retail manager.

  • Applicants of this role must have either form 4 or Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E).
  • Should understand Kiswahili language.
  • Priority customers satisfaction and be ready to assist during shopping if the need arise.

4. Supervisors

This job holder shall work hand-in-hand with the retail manager to ensure the overall smooth run of the retail branch. This includes helping to coordinate the team, check their performance, conduct briefs and staff training etc.

  • Interested candidate should possess a Diploma or Degree from any accredited tertiary institution.
  • Must not exceed 35 years of age.
  • Should have experience in retail chain business.
  • Must be strategic and dynamic in execution of duties.

5. Cleaners

These persons shall ensure continuous cleanliness of the store, priority hygiene and ensure the environmental is welcoming to both staff and customers.

  • Applicant should know how to handle common and industrial cleaning equipment.
  • Must be a Kenyan citizen.
  • Should possess at least KCSE with D+ mean grade.
