The Kiambu County is in the central region of Kenya with a total land mass of 2,543.5 Km2 sharing boarder with Nairobi, Kajiado, Machakos, Murang’a, Nyandarua, and Nakuru counties.

Eligibility Criteria for Kiambu County Recruitment 2025

• Nationality: Prospective applicant of Kiambu County Public Service Board recruitment exercise must be Kenyan citizen or permanent dweller of the County who possess current National Identity Card or Passport.
• Constitutional Clearance: Individuals applying must adhere to the requirements of chapter 6 of Kenya constitution by possessing valid clearance certificates from authorities such as; HELB, KRA, DCI, EACC, and CRB etc.
• KCSE: Prospective applicant are expected to possess the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education with at least D+ or D (plain) mean grade or holds an equivalent qualification.
• Skills: Everyone applying for this recruitment must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Also, should hold certificate in relevant computer applications from a recognized institution.

1. Ward Veterinary Surgeons and Para Professionals

• Interested applicants must be registered with the Kenya Veterinary Board (KVB)
• Should be conversant with relevant computer applications.

2. Secretary/CEO

• Candidates applying for this position must hold a Bachelor’s degree in either Human Resource Management, Business Administration or an equivalent discipline.
• Interested applicants with Master’s degree have an added advantage.
• Candidate must be a Certified Public Secretary and also a registered and active member of the Institute of Certified Secretaries.
• Applicant must be fully knowledgeable of Constitutional and Devolution laws.
• Must be a strategic think, result oriented and able to work under tensed pressure to meet close deadlines.
• Applicant must have accumulated five (5) or more years of professional experience.

3. Director, Supply Chain Management

• Individuals interested in this position must have at least 10 years professional work experience.
• He or she must hold a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in either Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a closely related discipline.
• Applicant must be a registered and recognized member of Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM).
• Those that are Certified Procurement and Supply Professional or Certified Institute Purchasing and Supplies Management (CIPS) have an edge.
• Applicant must have technical knowhow of the professional, be conversant with government principles, laws and procedures regarding public procurement.
