Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for any of the positions above, here are the key criteria you must meet.
Citizenship: Candidates applying must be an indigene of Kenya and have a current government issued ID card like National ID or International Passport.
Fulfillment of Chapter Six: Candidates applying must possess certificate from HELB, DCI, EACC, KRA PIN certificate etc.
Age: Applicants of KeRRA recruitment must be within the age bracket of 18 to 35 years except for top managerial positions. Also, it is preferred that candidate resides in the country.
Skills: Applicant must be able to express self in both written and oral form, be a good team member, proficient in relevant computer applications, possess good negotiation and reporting skills.

Job Responsibilities and Specifications
Below are what each position entail, carefully go through them for better understanding before application.
1. Deputy Director, Environment and Social Safeguards
Ass the Deputy Director, your primary responsibilities shall be to develop relevant strategies to ensure compliance with set projects, assess and addressed rising issues, and coordinate overall departmental activities to foster sustainable road development.
To qualify for this position:
- Applicant must have complete an M.Sc. and B.Sc. program in either Environmental Science, Environmental Planning & Management, Environmental Health, Bio systems Engineering etc.
- Applicant must be a registered member of NEMA and have current practicing license which must be renewed every year.
- An accumulative 10 years of relevant work experience is required.
- Leadership training for at least one (1) month in a recognized institution is mandatory.
2. Corporation Secretary and Director (Legal Services)
As the Corporation Secretary, you shall provide legal advice on day to day operations, manage legislative drafting, see to compliance with relevant status quo and as well offer contract advisory as the case maybe.
- Education: Applicant must have a Master’s and Bachelors of Law or equivalent qualification in social science from an approved university. PGD in legal studies from the Council of Legal Education (CLE) is mandatory.
- Professional Affiliation: Applicant must be a certified Public Secretary, Kenya (CPSK), a registered member of the Law Society of Kenya and Institute of Certified Secretaries of Kenya (ICPSK).
- Work Experience: Applicant must have at least 12 years’ experience and 5 of those years should be managerial positions.
- Applicant must be a result oriented person and had attended a leadership course of at least 1 month.
3. Deputy Director, Human Resource Management
Continuous assessment on the need of human resource of the authority, overseeing management programmes, orchestrate best measure in management of human resource function and periodic report of progress.
- Applicant must have both Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Economics, Public or Business Administration etc.
- Post graduate diploma in any of the above is a plus.
- Candidate must be a Level 6 certified Human Resource Professional. Membership with Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) is mandatory.
- Must have active practicing license and leadership course certificate.
- An overall 10 years of relevant work experience is required.
