To qualify Kenya Dairy Board jobs, here are the specifications ideal candidate must posses:

1. Records Management Officer

It shall be the responsibility of this candidate to receive, update and maintain file movement records and also dispatch relevant correspondences accurately.

  • Applicant must have a Degree of equivalent qualification in either Information Science Management, Archives or Records Management etc. from an accredited institution.
  • Must have at least three (3) years of work experience relevant to this role responsibilities.
  • Possess computer applications certificate is key.

2. Compliance Officer

Fundamentally, the key duty of this officer is to ensure that all necessary Dairy industry act are followed. This includes inspection and issuing of licenses to dairy premises, getting sample and test of dairy produce etc.

  • Interested applicant is expected to have a Degree or HND in either Food Science and Technology, Dairy Technology, Public Health, Animal Science etc. from an accredited institution.
  • Should have 3-years postgraduation experience related to this position.
  • Applicant must be a computer literate.

3. Records Management Assistant

Officer shall offer necessary support to the records management officer in receiving, recording, updating and maintaining relevant file index.

  • Candidate applying must have a Diploma from a recognized institution in Information Science, Library Science, Archives and Records Management or a closely related academic discipline.
  • Three (3) of more years of relevant work experience is a plus.
  • Applicant must be proficient in computer applications especially MS office packages.

4. Senior Security officer

This officer is responsible for interpretation and execution of relevant security policies and standards as specified by the board.

  • Interested applicant must have a Diploma or equivalent qualification in Security or a closely related course from a recognized institution.
  • Must have a criminal free background and possess certificate of good conduct from DCI.
  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a security personnel or in a disciplined force is required.
  • Applicant must have stamina for long hours of work.
  • Must be a computer literate and idea of relevant technological equipment.

5. Accountant Assistant

This officer shall offer relevant support in the finance department by preparing payment vouchers, issue receipts for inward payment and maintain a clean record of transaction within the board.

  • Ideal candidate must have passed Part II of the Certified Public Accounts (CPA) examination.
  • Must possess a degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Must be proficient with relevant financial computer applications.

6. Driver

The driver shall ensure the safety of the board’s vehicles, carry out regular checks to note faults on time before engaging in assigned journey.

  • Applicant must have D+ in KCSE, valid driving license that cater for all classes of vehicle
  • Have occupational trade test I/II/ or III for drivers
  • Must possess certificate of Defensive Driving from Kenya Automobile Association (AA).
  • Must be a computer literate.
  • Attended a first-aid training organized by KIHBT or St John Ambulance for at least one (1) week.
