Since inception, the aim of KENGEN have been general electricity by orchestrating, managing and overseeing operating power plants. The company is also collaborating with other power organizations in Africa such as Ethiopia Electric Power (EEP), and Tulu Moye Geothermal Operations (TMGO) etc.

To ensure continuous delivery of excellence, the management of KenGen do conduct yearly recruitment exercise to fill vacant position across departments of the company and that of 2025/2026 is ongoing.
