Eligibility Criteria for KEBS Recruitment 2025
Irrespective of the position you wish to apply for, here are the criteria to watch out for.
- Interested person must be an indigene of Kenya and possess a valid National Identity Card or Passport as proof.
- He or she should currently reside in the country.
- Must have the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a minimum of D+ mean grade including English and Kiswahili languages.
- Candidate must hold valid clearance certificates from KRA, HELB, DCI, CRB and any other relevant body as stated in chapter six (6) of Kenya constitution.
- Acceptable age for entry level positions is 18 – 35 years.
- Being proficient with relevant computer applications is pivotal.

1. Manager of Corporate Communications
- Individuals interested in this position must hold a Bachelor’s degree and Post Graduate Diploma in either Public Relations, Communications or Journalism etc.
- Should be a registered and recognized member of the Public Relations Society of Kenya and Media Council of Kenya.
- An accumulative eight (8) years of relevant work experience including holding a managerial position is required.
- Candidate must possess good presentation, analytical, strategic management, leadership and communication skills etc.
2. Chief Manager of Marketing and Customer Care
- Ideal candidates for this position must hold a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
- Should hold professional qualification and member with either Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK), Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK), Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) or International Customer Experience (ICX) etc.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience is required.
- Prospective applicant must possess good communication, customer care, time and brand management skills etc.
3. Chief Manager of Legal Services
- Candidates interested in this role must possess a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or Public Administration etc.
- He or she must maintain professional membership with Certified Secretary, Law Society of Kenya etc.
- Must hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Law and at least ten (10) years of practical experience.
- Candidate must possess good minute, report, interpersonal and financial management skills etc.
4. Chief Manager of Certification Body
- Candidate applying should possess a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in either Engineering, Technology or any social science course.
- Applicant must be a member of either Engineers Board of Kenya, Chemical Society of Kenya, Kenya Institute of Management, International Register for Certification Auditors etc.
- At least ten (10) years of relevant professional experience is required.
5. Director for Standards Development
- Persons applying for this position must possess both Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Science or Technology related discipline.
- Should be a registered and active member of either Engineers Board of Kenya, Chemistry society of Kenya, Physics society of Kenya, Food Nutrition and Dietetics Board, Computer Society of Kenya, Kenya Institute of Management, or National Quality Institute etc.
- Nothing less than twelve (12) years of relevant work experience is required for this position.
- Applicant must possess good investigation, prosecution, auditing and negotiation skills etc.
