The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) can be traced as far back as 1974, the Bureau was birthed out of the need to ensure quality control and standards development. Functions include providing quality infrastructure for facilitation of trade, support Kenya industries and advocate for sustainable production systems etc.
As a way to support youth development and capacity building, the management of Kenya Bureau of Standards has advertised vacancies for the 2025 KEBS internship program and encourages application from young graduates between 18 and 35 years.

Eligibility Criteria for Appointment
To get selected for any of the aforementioned internship vacancies, here are the requirements you must meet.
- Only candidates who hail from Kenya and holds a valid National Identity Card or passport are permitted to apply.
- Interested candidate must have completed an undergraduate degree or Diploma programme at an accredited tertiary institution.
- Undergraduate’s applicants must finish school before the official commencement of the internship programme.
- Candidate must currently be unemployed and shouldn’t be an ex-beneficiary of this internship programme.
- Candidate must be proficient in relevant computer applications.
- Applicant must be within 18 and 35 years of age as this program targets youths.
- Should be a good communicator, and skillful in interpersonal relations.
Expectations of the Program
Duration: According to the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS), the internship program will be for twelve (12) months or one (1) year. Candidates are expected to be available full-time throughout this period.
Stipends: Interns shall be paid monthly stipends in accordance to existing remuneration policy of Kenya Bureau of Standards.
