Requirements for ICT Authority Recruitment 2025
To show eligible for the vacancies above, here are the qualifications, experience and skills required.
1. Chief Executive Officer
- Applicant of this role must have a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Information Communication Technology, Finance, and Law etc. from an accredited institution.
- A total of fifteen (15) years’ work experience including nine (9) of these years in managerial position.
- Candidate must have attended a professional leadership or a management course that lasted for at least one (1) month at any recognized institution.
- Candidate applying is expected to be a member of a professional body relevant to either this position or academic discipline.
- Applicant must be an ICT inclined person and do possess relevant certificate in computer applications.
- Key skills such as; planning and organizing, leading, human resource, financial management, decision marking and strategic visioning is required.
2. Deputy Director, E-Government
- To occupy this post, interested applicant must have served for at least nine (9) years in either Public or private sector.
- Applicant must be a holder of both Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Science, Information Systems, and Mathematics etc.
- Certification must be from an accredited and recognized institution.
- Professional certifications such as SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft etc. is a plus.
- Applicant must have completed a management and leadership training course of at least one (1) month.
- Should be a member of relevant professional body.
3. Deputy Director, Public Communication
- This role requires a candidate who possess a Master’s degree and Bachelor’s degree in either Corporate Communications, Mass Communication, Public Relations etc. from an accredited tertiary institution.
- A minimum of nine (9) years relevant work experience especially in relation to this role is required.
- Applicant must have certifications in relevant computer applications from an approved institution.
- Candidate should have attended a management or leadership course that lasted four (4) weeks.
- Applicant should be skilled in communication and interpersonal relationship.
4. Data Analytics Intern
- Role is suitable for applicant with a Bachelor’s degree in either Engineering, Telecommunication or ICT etc.
- Candidate must have graduated within the last two (2) years.
- Would present a recommendation or reference letter.
Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Candidates eligible to apply for the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) authority recruitment are Kenyan citizens with valid National Identity Card or Passport.
Age: Applicant must be within 18 and 35 years.
K.C.S.E: Applicant must have completed secondary education and awarded K.C.S.E with at least D+ mean grade or equivalent qualification.
