1. Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

The CEO of the organization is an individual that sees through the strategic leadership and management of the agency’s operations and effect execution of its mandate in accordance with national water policy objectives effectively. This role basically means that you will be executing policies, engaging with stakeholders, and coordinating all projects of the entity.

• At minimum, fifteen (15) years of prior experience in any relevant field. 
• Possession of a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Kenya.
• Knowledge and experience in policy formulation, management and procedures of the Government. 
• At least 4 weeks leadership course from an accredited institution.
• Professional qualification and membership to a professional body.
• Competencies include analytical, communication, interpersonal, negotiation skills, ability to mobilize resources, and strategic and innovative thinking. This position is graded as CWWDA 1 is subject to renewal 3 years after and must be carried out based on overall performance.

2. Mechanical Engineer

As the Mechanical Engineer of the organization, you must inspect, recommend, repair, and maintain motor vehicles, plants, and machinery. What also would be needed from you is preparation of valuation reports on motor vehicles and machinery specifications.

• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an approved tertiary institution.

3. Principal Information Communication Technology Officer

• Candidates interested in this role must possess a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in either Engineering, ICT Project Management, Computer Engineering, or equivalent field of study.
• Applicant must have relevant work experience for at least eight (8) years.
• Professional certifications such as CCNP, CDCP, CCNA Cloud or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution is required.
• Undergoing a management or leadership course of at least one (1) month is mandatory.

4. Chemist I

• Ideal candidate for this role is one who already served as a Chemist II for at least three (3) years.
• Applicant must be a holder of B.Sc. in Chemistry or a comparable course from a recognized institution.
• Candidates seeking for this position must be proficient in relevant computer applications.

5. Corporate Communications Officer

• First degree in Communications, Public Relations or a closely related discipline is required.
• Candidate must be a computer literate.

6. Office Administrator

• Interested applicant should hold a degree in either Secretarial Studies, Commerce, Business Administration or a comparable discipline.
• Those with Diploma in any of the above courses can as well apply.
• Candidate must have passed Typewriting III, Shorthand III, Business English III, or Commerce II etc.
• Applicant must have attended a management or leadership training course that lasted for one (1) at any accredited institution.
