Qualifications for Homa Bay County Government Recruitment 2025

Here are the criteria that makes you eligible for appointment.

1. Nutrition and Dietetic Technologist III

• Interested candidate must have a Diploma in Community Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition or a comparable course from an accredited institution.
• Candidate must be a registered member of the Institute of Nutritionists and Dieticians.
• Must also be a computer literate.

2. Weighs and Measures Assistant III

• Interested applicant must hold a Diploma in either Computer Science, ICT, Legal Metrology etc. from an accredited tertiary institution.
• Applicant must be proficient in relevant computer applications.

3. Medical Engineering Technologist III

• Persons applying for this role must have either a Diploma Certificate in Medical Engineering or a comparable discipline.

4. Plaster Technician II

• Applicant must hold a Plaster Technician certificate from KMTC or hold an equivalent qualification.
• Should be experience.

5. Orthopedic Trauma Technologist III

• Interested applicant must be a graduate of Diploma in either Orthopedic Plaster Technology or a related discipline.
• Candidate must be proficient in computer applications relevant to this role.

6. Pharmaceutical Technologist III

• Intending applicants of this position must hold a Diploma in either Pharmacy or a related field of study.
• Must have registration certificate issued by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
• Must be ICT inclined.

7. Medical Laboratory Technologist III

• Candidates needed for this position must possess at least a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences or a related field of study.
• Candidate must be a registered member of the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologist Board (KMLTTB).
• Must hold a valid license for this board as well.

Eligibility Criteria for Homa Bay County Job Vacancies 2025

• Nationality: The County Government requires that only Kenya citizens with valid National Identity Card or Passport, also residing in the county should submit application for advertised job vacancies.
• Clearance: Applicant must fulfill chapter six of the constitution by possess relevant clearance certificates from Higher Education Loan Board (HELB), Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI), Ethics Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) and Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) etc.
• KCSE: Must be a holder of the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E) with at least D+ mean grade including English and Kiswahili languages.
• Skills: Must have a good command of English and Kiswahili languages, be a good communicator, creative thinker, and team player.
