The Kenya Deposit Insurance Corporation (KDIC) was founded under the Act of Parliament with the key responsibility of insuring deposit for member banks, liquidate and windup banks facing challenges.

Eligibility Criteria for KDIC Internship 2025
- Persons interested in this internship program must be a Kenyan citizen, and as well possess a valid National Identity Card or Passport.
- Prospective applicant must have graduated with a degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution in the last 3 years.
- Applicant must currently be unemployed nor currently partake in another internship program.
- Candidate must be a fresh graduate with zero post-graduation work experience in their academic discipline.
- Applicant must not have retired, sacked or excluded from any formal employment be it in private or public sector.
- Candidate shall provide original and copies of academic qualifications, transcripts or testimonials.
- Shall provide a detailed and up to date Curriculum Vitae.
- Must hold a valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Director of Criminal Investigation (DCI) and also possess a valid Personal accident insurance to handle personal risks throughout the internship duration.
- Candidate must as well possess a valid Kenya Revenue Authority Personal Identification Number (PIN).
- Applicant shall provide a medical insurance cover issued by National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) or a comparable medical insurance firm.
- When selected for the program, candidate shall register with the National Social Security Fund (NSSF).
