Eligibility Criteria for KWS Recruitment 2025/2026
- Constitutional Compliance: As specified in chapter six (6) of Kenya constitution, interested candidates must possess clearance certificates from HELB, CRA, DCI, EACC, and CRB etc.
- Nationality: Applicant must be a citizen of Kenya and possess a valid National Identity Card or Passport.
- KCSE Result: Prospective applicant must hold the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education with a minimum of D+ mean grade which must include English and Kiswahili languages.
- Competencies: Applicant must be proficient in relevant computer applications, should be a good communicator, and possess great interpersonal, and analytical skills.
Qualifications for KWS Recruitment 2025/2026

1. Director of Planning, Partnerships and Enterprise
- Candidates interested in this position are expected to hold both Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Planning Communication or a closely related discipline.
- Applicant must have graduate from an accredited and recognized institution in Kenya. Those with foreign certificates shall be vetted by the Commission for University Education (CUE).
- This role requires that the candidates possess a minimum of 12 years professional work experience including handling top management positions relevant to this role.
- Candidates applying must have gone through a professional management or professional training that lasted at least one (1) month at an accredited institution.
- Candidate must be a member of relevant professional body.
- Should have a clean work record and conversant with Business models, innovation ecosystems and trends.
- Applicant must be a person of integrity and have zero criminal record.
2. Corporation Secretary/Director of Legal
- Interested applicant must hold a Bachelor’s of Law degree (L.L.B) at a recognized institution.
- Candidates with Master’s degree in Law, Business Administration or a related discipline have an added advantage.
- Applicant must have a Postgraduate Diploma from Kenya School of Law.
- Candidate must hold professional membership with Law Society of Kenya (LSK), Institute of Certified Public Secretaries and also be a Certified Public Secretary (CPSK).
- Candidate applying must have a minimum of 12 years practical work experience either in private or public sector.
3. Principal Aircraft Pilot (Helicopter)
- Interested applicant must hold a Kenyan Private and Commercial Pilot License.
- Must have completed at least 1,000 hours of Helicopter pilot in Command fight.
- Applicant must have aced the KCAA Gas-turbine examination.
- He or she must have B- in KCSE and also hold a class 1 Medical Certificate from KCAA accredited medical practitioner.
- Candidate applying most not exceed 40 years of age.
- Should understand and be ready to sort through with off-base field operations.
4. Senior Assistant Director, Corporation Communication
- Candidates applying for this position must have a first degree or HND in either Mass Communication, Journalism or Public Relations etc. from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Those with a Master’s degree in any of the above academic discipline have an added advantage.
- Applicant must have at last 10 years or above professional work experience including handling top management position.
- Candidates applying must have undergone a leadership and management training for at least four (4) weeks.
