Eligibility Criteria for Kericho County Recruitment 2025

• Citizenship: The Kericho County Public Service Board jobs vacancies is only open to Kenyan citizens with valid National Identity Card or passport preferably indigenes of the county.
• Basic Education: Fundamentally, all candidates irrespective of the position they wish to apply must possess the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a minimum of D+ mean grade.
• Age: Generally, applicants shall be received from persons between the ages of 20 – 35 years. This excludes roles that requires 10 and above years of experience.

Qualifications for Kericho County Government Recruitment 2025

1. Revenue Clerks

• Interested candidates must have a C- (minus) mean grade in KCSE.
• Should be proficient in relevant computer packages.
• Those with Diploma or equivalent qualification have an added advantage.

2. County Solicitor

• Prospective applicant must hold a valid LLB degree from an accredited university.
• Applicant is required to possess a Master’s degree as well.
• Having at least 5 years’ experience as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya is mandatory.
• Candidates who hold postgraduate Diploma in legal studies at an institution approved by Council of Legal Education have an added advantage.
• Prospective applicant must have complete a leadership or management programme of at least six (6) weeks at a recognized institution.
• Candidate must be conversant with pertinent laws and professional standards.

3. Dentist

• Ideal candidate must have a Bachelor degree in Dental Surgery from an institution accredited by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.
• Candidate must have finished a mandatory 1 year internship program.
• He or she must have a valid registration certificate and practicing license from the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board etc.
• Proficiency in relevant computer packages is necessary.

4. Pharmacist

• Candidates eligible for appointment must possess first degree in Pharmacy.
• Must have graduated from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
• Candidate should hold a registration certificate and practicing license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
• It is mandatory to have completed a one (1) year internship program.

5. Nursing Officer

• Prospective applicant must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Midwifery.
• A valid registration certificate and practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya.

6. Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse

• Candidates applying for this position must hold a Diploma in relevant field of study.
• Must be a registered member of Nursing Council of Kenya who possess valid practicing license.
