Eligibility Criteria for Kitui County Government Jobs 2025

- Citizenship: Prospective applicant must be a Kenyan citizen with a valid National Identity Card or Passport and should currently reside in Kitui County.

Qualifications for Kitui County Recruitment 2025

1. County Secretary
- Ideal candidate for this position must hold a Bachelor’s degree and possibly a Master’s in relevant academic discipline.
- Applicant must be a Certified Public Secretary.
- Should not hold a Public or State office at the time of this application.
- Must not have contested for political position in the last five (5) years.
- Applicant should have at least five (5) years or relevant work experience.
- Must be a professional who respects and follow the professional code of conduct.
2. County Attorney
- Interested applicants of this role must be an advocate of the High Court of Kenya for a minimum period of five (5) years.
- Candidate must hold a Degree or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution in Kenya.
3. Senior Superintending Engineer (Structural)
- Interested candidates of this position must hold a first degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Applicant should be a registered and active member of Engineers Registration Board of Kenya (ERB) and must possess a valid practicing license.
- Professional membership with the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK) is an added advantage.
- Applicant must have completed a Senior Management training course that lasted at least one (1) month.
