General Requirements for Samburu County Jobs 2025

Qualifications for Samburu County Public Service Jobs 2025

The eligibility criteria is what decides whether you can even participate in the recruitment exercise or not, while qualifications determines the role you best fit in.

1. Co-operative Auditor

• Candidates who prefer this role must possess first degree in either Economics, Mathematics, Finance or another related course.
• Candidate must hold Certified Public Accountant part III or Certified Internal Auditors part II qualifications.
• Having professional work experience related to this role for at least three (3) years is an added advantage.
• Prospective applicant must be a member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) or equivalent professional body.

2. Deputy Director, Fleet Management

• Interested candidate should hold a Diploma or equivalent qualification in Public Management, Transport Management etc.
• Candidate must hold a valid driver’s license and have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience.

3. Chairperson, Samburu County

• Interested applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree or a comparable qualification in either Finance or another relevant discipline.
• Candidate must have worked as an Auditor or hold senior management position in Finances all put together should be seven (7) years of professional experience.
• Candidate must have other qualifications such as CPAK, ACCA, CIA or equivalent.
• Being certified for a management or leadership training that lasted at least six (6) weeks is an added advantage.

4. Legal Officer I

• Ideal candidate must have LLB from an accredited university.
• Should have post-graduation work experience in Law for a minimum period of two (2).
• Possess relevant professional qualifications would be an added advantage.

5. General Surgeon

• Candidate eligible for appointment is one with a Bachelor degree in Medicine and Surgery.
• Must be a registered and certified member of Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board of Kenya.
• Candidate should hold a valid practicing license and those with a Master’s degree have an added advantage.
