Eligibility Criteria for Nyandarua County Jobs 2025

1. Nationality: Nyandarua County shall only receive application from Kenyan citizens who possess valid National Identity Card or Passport and currently reside in the country.

Qualifications for Nyandarua County Government Jobs 2025

1. Board Members

There are four (4) positions available for this role. To qualify:

• Prospective applicant must be a holder of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from any accredited tertiary institution.
• A minimal five (5) years of work experience relevant to this role especially in managerial position is required.
• Applicant must not occupy any public or state office at the time of application.

2. Secretary of Nyandarua Public Service Board

• To stand a chance, applicant must have gained a minimum of five (5) years professional work experience especially comparable to this role or junior cadre.
• Applicant must have completed a Bachelor and Master’s degree program in relevant field of study from an accredited/recognized tertiary institution.
• Only candidates certified as Public Secretary shall be considered.
• Professional qualification or training in Human Resource is a plus.
• Applicant must not be an occupant of state of public office.
• Must be a person of high integrity and zero criminal record.

3. Chairperson, County Public Service Board

• Fundamental requirements is that, applicant must be experienced for at least ten (10) years as a senior level management officer.
• Should possess Bachelor’s degree certificate in any relevant field of study. Candidates with Master’s degree shall be preferred.
• Interested candidate must be off state or public office.
• Should understand full professional ethics of conduct and have no antecedent of breaking them.
• Should be free of any litigation and have zero criminal convictions.

4. Chief Officer, Partnership, Diaspora & Resource Mobilization

• Interested candidate must hold either a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in related academic discipline.
• Certification must be from a recognized tertiary institution.
• Candidate must have a record of at least ten (5) years general work experience and five (5) years working in a senior management role.
• Applicant must be conversant with computer applications such as Microsoft Office, internet etc.
