The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) will release names of successful candidates for the 2025 recruitment exercise between 21st and 24th October 2025. Selected candidates shall received enlistment notification for interview, meanwhile monitor front tier print media within the specified duration.
Eligibility Criteria for KDF Shortlist
Becoming successful at Kenya Defence Force recruitment exercise portrays the following:
- You’re a Kenyan citizen with valid National Identity Card or Passport within the age bracket of 18 to 35 years.
- You submitted application and participated in the recruitment exercise on or before the set deadline.
- You possess the a minimum of D+ mean grade in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E) or equivalent qualification.

When is Ministry of Defence Interview Date?
All shortlisted candidates are to report for interview screening at the Ministry of Defence Headquarters, Ulinzi House, Lenana Road, Nairobi from 21st March 2025.
Candidates are to report to the screening venue with the following documents:
- Valid copy of National Identity Card or Passport.
- Academic and professional certificates.
- Two (2) recent passport photograph.
- Birth Certificate/Age Declaration.
- Testimonials and any other supporting documents.
