About Kenya Revenue Authority
This authority can be traced back to 1995 when it was established in accordance to chapter 459 of the laws of Kenya. Since then, it has serve in diverse capacities to ensure economic stabilization.
KRA is the body set up by the government to oversee revenue collection, management and accountability. The authority also execute other relevant functions relevant to revenue and the need may be.

Overview of KRA Internship Programme
- Purpose: The key essence of this program is to offer young graduates the opportunity to learn applicable skills irrespective of their field of study. This goes in line with Kenya Government’s Initiate to orchestrate capable, discipline and skillful youths for the labour market.
- Qualifications: The Kenya Revenue Authority internship is open to fresh graduates of Bachelor’s degree and Diploma Graduates.
- Internship Duration: January to December 2025. Recruited interns must be available full-time throughout this period.
- Acceptable Graduation Year: Applicant must have graduate within the last three (3) years.

Eligibility Criteria
- Interested applicant must be a Kenyan citizen with valid National Identity Card or Passport.
- Candidates interested must be a graduate of either Degree or Diploma from an accredited and recognized institution. Possibly graduated between January 2023 and December 2024.
- Applicant must not be a beneficiary of this internship program or involve in any other throughout the duration.
- Applicant must have at least D+ mean grade in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E).
- Candidates applying for pupillage must possess a Law degree.
- Acceptable age range is 18 to 35 years.

How to Apply for KRA Internship 2025/2026
Do you meet the above eligibility criteria and would like to submit application? If yes, then follow through the steps below.
1. Create Profile on KRA e-recruitment portal
Using any browser of your choice, go to www.erecruitment.kra.go.ke, click the register button, and carefully enter required information to create an account. Check your email for profile activation.
2. Fill the Online Application Form
Log on to KRA e-recruitment portal using your username and password, then proceed to update your profile, select internship from the vacancies tab, fill the application form, attach copies of relevant documents and academic certificates, cross-check the application, then submit.
In summary:
- Visit www.erecruitment.kra.go.ke/login
- Enter your username and password
- Select preferred internship position
- Click apply to complete online form
- Scan and upload National ID or Passport, academic and professional certificates
- Finally, click “send application now”
KRA Internship 2025 Application Deadline
All interested and eligible candidates are expected to submit their application on or before 23rd December 2024 at 11:59pm. Those who apply after this date shall not be considered for shortlisting.
Note:
- Only online applications are accepted.
- Inability to complete application before said deadline results to instant disqualification.
- In due time, successful applicants shall be contacted by the management.
- There is no assurance of getting employed after the internship duration.
- Each success intern is eligible for Kshs. 25,000 (Degree applicant) while Diploma holders get Kshs. 18,000.
Documents such as Certificate of Good Conduct, KRA PIN, Personal Accident Insurance Cover, SHA, NSSF, ID Card etc. shall be required. KRA does not support discrimination, as such interested persons whether disabled or not, can submit application if they meet the selection criteria.
