1. Director, Public Transport Operations & Management
As the Director of Public transport operations and management, it shall be your duty to ensure compliance with relevant standards, registration, licensing, network management etc. for overall quality assurance.
More specifically, you shall oversee operations contract, orchestrate and executive innovative Public Transport Operations policies amongst others.
Candidate must suitably for this role must meet the specification below.
- Education: Must be a graduate of either Standardization, Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, Information System etc. from a recognized institution. Master’s degree in any of the above discipline is a plus.
- Experience: Due to the nature of this job, ideal candidate must have at least twelve (12) years of work experience relevant to this position.
- Professional qualification: Applicant must have certification in Project Management, computer application and leadership course from an accredited institution. Membership with relevant professional body is necessary.
2. Director General
As the Director General, you equally serve as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NaMATA. Thus, setting out goals, strategies, execution plans and general management of the authority’s resources is in your jurisdiction.
To qualify, here are requirements.
- Applicants of this role must be a graduate of either Social Sciences, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Transport Management, Transport Economics etc. from an accredited university.
- Applicants with Master’s have an added advantage.
- Attending relevant leadership course and training is a plus.
