The general requirements for the above positions is that; interested candidates must at least 20 years old, possess a minimum of D+ mean grade in KCSE, be a citizen of Kenya by birth and possess current National Identity Card or passport, have clearance certificates from DCI, HELB, KRA, CRB and other relevant bodies.

Qualifications for Parliamentary Service Recruitment 2025
Adding to the above eligibility requirements are the educational, professional and other relevant qualifications demanded for each vacancy.
1. Security Warden
As the security warden, your primary responsibility shall be to follow due process that ensures the safety of personnel and properties within the parliament premises.
- Ideal candidate for this role is expected to have D+ grade (plus) in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education.
- Must have some form of paramilitary training from any of the recognized uniformed forces.
- Applicant must have served for at least three (3) years as a uniformed personnel. This experience boots of chances of employment.
2. Director, Hansard and Audio Services
This personnel shall ensure accurate management of the Directorate on a daily basis to ensure seamless flow of processes.
- Applicant of this role must be a graduate of Bachelors of Art in either Linguistics, or a related Social Science course from an accredited institution.
- Completing a Master’s degree program in either of the aforementioned discipline is an added advantage.
- It best suited if applicant possess eighteen (18) years of relevant experience.
- Applicant must be knowledgeable of parliamentary practices, procedures and the entire conduct of the system committees.
- Completing a management or leadership course program is a huge plus.
- Great communication, conflict management, negotiation, supervisory and problem solving skills is a plus.
3. Member of the Parliament
- Applicant must be in tangent with section 8 and 9 of the Kenya constitution.
- Those already in the parliament as members cannot apply.
- Candidate must have a degree or equivalent qualification from an approved institution in Kenya.
- Possess 10 years or above experience is a plus.
- Candidate must be in consolidation with attaining democratic ideals of the parliament.
4. Sales Officer II
Primarily, officer shall keep the records of all sales and contract transaction. To get appointment, Ideal candidate must:
- Have completed a degree program in either Commerce, Procurement, Marketing or a related discipline from an institution approved by the Commission for University Education.
- Applicant must be a recognized member of Marketing Society of Kenya.
- Have worked in relevant position for at least six (6) years of more especially as sales of marketing officer II.
- Possess great interpersonal communication skills, marketing skills, be strategic thinker and good team player etc.
5. Senior Marketing Officer
This officer is responsible for the negotiation, monitoring and close of relevant sales contracts for either training of consultancy purposes.
- Eligible applicant is one with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in either Commerce, Marketing or a relevant academic discipline.
- Applicant must have served in several relevant positions including Marketing Officer I for at least nine (9) years.
- He or she must have a good performance and track records as a Marketing Officer.
- Should possess good supervisory, communication, marketing and negotiation skills etc.

Parliamentary Service 2025 Jobs Application Deadline
Whether you wish to submit hard or soft copy application, ensure to do so before Tuesday, 15th July 2025 at 5:00pm. Applicants who do not complete the PSC application form (form 1J) shall be disqualified from the recruitment process.
Summary of the recruitment process is as follows:
- Phase 1: Submission of application by interested candidates on or before set closing date.
- Phase 2: Review and shortlisting of successful applicants by the Parliamentary Service Commission.
- Phase 3: Interview and screening of all shortlisted candidates then appointment letter and resumption date.
