Eligibility Criteria for CAK Recruitment 2025/2026

  • Citizenship: Prospective applicant of Communications Authority of Kenya job vacancies must be Kenyan citizens with valid means of identification such as National ID or Passport.
  • Age: This depends on the post and experience required but generally applicants should be within 18 and 35 years of age.
  • Education: Basically, applicants must hold the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a minimum of D+ mean grade including English and Kiswahili languages.
  • Clearance Documents: In fulfillment of chapter six (6) of Kenya constitution, prospective applicants must possess valid clearance certificate/documents from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI), Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) and also Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) etc.

1. Director of Competition Management, Consumer Protection and Corporate Communications

  • Prospective applicant must possess a degree in either Applied and Physical Sciences, Humanities and Social Science or a closely related discipline.
  • He or she must as well possess a Master’s degree in relevant field of study.
  • Applicant must possess a minimum of fifteen (15) years professional work experience.
  • He or she must be a member of relevant professional body.
  • Should possess certification in leadership course of at least four (4) weeks at a recognized institution.

2. Director of Finance & Accounts

  • Prospective applicant must this position must hold a Bachelor and Master’s degree in either Commerce, Accounting, Business Management or other related discipline.
  • Applicant must be a Certified Public Accountant (CAP-K).
  • Should possess membership with relevant professional body.
  • Must be a computer literate etc.
