Job Description

If you wish to apply for the role of Good Received Note (GRN) Clerk, here’s what to note:

  • You shall receive and confirm expected goods.
  • Generate and maintain correct Goods Received Notes (GRNs).
  • Ensure that purchase orders and delivery notes tallies.
  • Confirm that received goods are appropriately labeled and stored.
  • Notify and cooperate with the Branch manager and finance team to tackle emerging invoice queries.
  • Take correct inventory audits and also maintain an accurate filing system.

Requirements:

Those applying for the position of GRN clerk must hold at least a Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, or Business Administration etc.

Eligibility Criteria for Powerstar Supermarket Jobs 2025

  • Qualification: Interested candidates are expected to posses the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a minimum of D+ mean grade including English and Kiswahili languages. Form four (4) leavers, Diploma and Degree holders can submit application as well.
  • Citizenship: Prospective applicant must be a Kenyan citizen who possess a valid National Identity Card or Passport.
  • Competencies: Applicant must be a computer literate, possess good communication, interpersonal and customer relation skills.
  • Work experience: Candidates with few months or years of relevant work experience have an added advantage.
  • Required Documents: As specified in chapter six of the constitution, candidates shall provide copies KRA, HELB, DCI and EACC clearance certificates, National ID or passport, academic and professional certifications etc.
