Eligibility for IEBC Voter Registration 2025
Only eligible candidates are to proceed with the registration. In other words, interested citizens are to adhere to the following requirements to be allowed to participate in the 2025 IEBC voters online registration:
- A Kenyan citizen.
- Candidates can only be a minimum of 18 years of age to participate.
- He/she must have in possession; an original national identity card or a valid Kenyan passport.
- Registration in more than one polling station is prohibited.

Voters Registration Process
- Go to your constituency’s IEBC office with your original national ID or passport.
- Present your ID or passport to the registration officer for verification.
- Fill in the registration form; new voters must complete Form A while transfers and updates are handled using Form C
- Your fingerprints, photograph, and personal details will be digitally captured.
IEBC Online and SMS Voters Verification
IEBC provides two main ways to confirm voter registration details:

- Visit verify.iebc.or.ke.
- Enter your ID or passport number and your year of birth.
- The system will display your registration details including the polling unit.
2. SMS Verification

IEBC Voters Registration 2025 Step by Step Process
Follow the stages below to register as a voter for the 2027 general election in Kenya.
Step 1: Documents Presentation
The first step in the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) voters registration is to carryout capturing. To get this done, visit the nearest center, then present true copies of your National ID or passport to the IEBC official on desk.
Step 2: Validation of Documents Presented
