What are the Eligibility Requirements?
To get appointed for any of these vacancies, here are the criteria to meet.
- Nationality: The Ministry shall only accept applications from Kenyan citizens who possess either a valid National Identity Card or Passport.
- Age: Interested applicant must be within the age range of 18 – 35 years.
- KCSE: At least D+ mean grade in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education including English and Kiswahili languages is required.
- Clearance: Applicant must be cleared and issued certificate from relevant authorities such as Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI), Ethics Anti-Corruption Commission and a reputable Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) etc.
- Personal Attributes: Candidates interested should be good at interpersonal relations, be proficient in relevant computer application, discipline, result oriented and good team player.

Qualifications for Ministry of Trade and Industrialization Jobs 2025

1. Principal Enterprise Development Officer
- Interested applicants must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Senior Enterprise Development Officer or held an equivalent position.
- Applicant must have completed a management or leadership training course of at least 4 weeks.
2. Instructor III
- Persons applying for this position must have a Diploma or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Building and Construction, Clothing and Textiles Technology, Leather and Tannery etc.
- Having few years of experience and registration with relevant professional body is an added advantage.
3. Lecturer III
- Prospective applicant must hold first degree in Communication Technology, Statistics, Human Resource Management or a closely related discipline.
4. Trade Development Officer II
- The ideal candidate for this position is one with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business Management/Administration, Entrepreneurship or a closely related discipline.
5. Deputy Director, Regional Social Integration
- Candidates applying for this role must have an accumulate twelve (12) years of relevant work experience.
- Must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study.
- Be a registered and active member of relevant professional body.
