Eligibility Criteria for MICDE Recruitment 2025
- Age: Prospective applicants of this recruitment exercise must be within 18 and 35 years of age.
- Nationality: Persons interested in any of the above advertised position must be a Kenyan citizen with valid National Identity Card or Passport.
- Necessary Clearance: As stipulated in chapter 6 of Kenya constitution, interested applicants must possess valid clearance certificate from the Higher Education Loan Board (HELB), Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Ethic Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) and Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) etc.
- Education: Basically, irrespective of the position you wish to apply, candidates are expected to have at least D+ mean grade in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E) or equivalent qualification.
- Competencies: Applicants of this recruitment exercise must possess good communication and interpersonal skills, should be able to work under pressure and proficient in relevant computer applications.
Qualifications for Ministry of Information Recruitment 2025
1. Deputy Director, Public Communication
- Prospective applicant of this position must hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in either Communication, Public Relations, Corporate Communication and Journalism from an accredited institution in Kenya.
- Applicant must have a minimum of nine (9) yeas relevant work experience in either Public or Private Sector.
- Candidate must have complete a minimum of four (4) weeks leadership or management training course at any accredited institution.
- He or she must hold a valid certificate in computer applications.
2. Deputy Director, E-Government
- Candidates interested in this role must hold a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree respectively in either Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Candidate should hold other professional certifications like SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft etc.
- Applicant must have finished a four (4) weeks leadership or management training at a recognized institution.
- Must be a registered and active member of professional body such as ICTAK, or IMIS etc.
3. Multimedia (ICT Graphics) & Digital Marketing
- Interested candidate must hold a first or upper second-class honours from an accredited institution.
- Undergraduates have that will graduate on or before December 2025 can provide a recommendation letter duly signed by their institution of studies.
- Persons who graduated with Bachelor’s degree in either Engineering, or ICT, Data Analytics and Multimedia can submit application.
- Applicants of this position must be within 21 and 29 years of age.
- Must not be undergoing any internship program and as well be willing to get deployed in any government organization (MCDAs) within the 47 counties of Kenya.
